Hello! Welcome to Something Blooming! The title of this blog is based off F. Scott Fitzgerald's Tender is the Night. The quote reads, "You're the only girl I've seen for a long time that actually did look like something blooming." My intent through this blog is to reveal to growing society that there is, indeed, something blooming out there. I cannot kid myself into believing any longer that reading is our country's greatest pastime. I know too many children who would rather watch a movie than read a novel, and that's saying something. The world deserves to know that books are life whether it likes it or not. Too many don't know what they're missing. Too many have closed a book for the last time.
